    Hi guys,

    I have an iPhone 4S and for a while I was able to see attached pictures here. Then, I don't know why, I was unable to see them.

    I just updated to iOS 7 hoping the problem will disappear, but it didn't.

    Ideas anyone?

    I restarted the iPhone, I reset Safari, I deleted the cache...no clues what's wrong.

    What do you see where the pictures are suppose to be in a post?
    Is it a link or is it an attachment number or is it an x'd out picture frame or is it nothing?

    Try logging out of fchat and logging back in again.

    Also, use a PC instead of your iPhone and see if you can see pictures then or not.
    (This would eliminate the fchat login as potentially the problem.)

    Hi Ron,

    there's just nothing to see in a post.

    It works on my PC so it's not the FC login.

    The problem appears only here at fchat, this is strange. The guys at the local Apple store just reset my safari settings but this didn't help.

    Logging out and in didn't help, I tried it several times. I also restarted my iPhone, but this didn't help as well.

    Interesting problem.

    Do you see the pictures in people's avatars?
    For example, do you see the blue 550 in my avatar?

    Yes, I see all avatars on my iPhone.

    Well, it's interesting, but confusing...

    This is just a wild guess, but if you are logged in to "ferrarichat.com", try changing the URL and log in to "www.ferrarichat.com" instead.

    The browser cookie that keeps you logged in is a different cookie if you log in to the "www" version of the website.

    The reason I think this might work is the HTML that is generated for those picture attachments appears to have the "www" in front of it. So, I'm thinking, maybe on the iPhone, it is sensitive to "ferrarichat.com" vs. "www.ferrarichat.com". Crazy idea, but thought it might be worth an experiment.

    I've learned to stay logged in to both URLs. The reason is, people post fchat links to other threads using both formats. That way, when I click on a posted link, it works both ways.

    Thanks, but this is WWW. - it's the new iOS 7 layout... If you click the browser address line it shows WWW.

    I just tried an experiment with my wife's iPhone 5.
    She recently upgraded to iOS7.
    I connected to fchat, logged in, and went to that 550 post with the 3 pictures.
    No problem, the 3 pictures came up fine.

    So, the problem isn't an fchat compatibility problem with iOS7.
    I'm thinking it has to be something specific to your phone settings or fchat connection.

    Hmm ... very tough problem to solve.

    Well, I have the problem since iOS 5... or so, not sure.

    But good news - I downloaded that Tapatalk thingy and now I can see photos!
    Not embedded in the posts, but I can click the attached pictures and see them.

    Thanks for your effort.

    We'll probably never know what causes the problem without tapatalk... ;-)
