That's cool. I'd buy that too, just to make things interesting with a bidding war. ;)

If I were rich with money to burn, I would most definitely buy a carbon fiber toilet.

How do they get a pronunciation of 'Dough-Dough' from a word when spelled clearly should be pronounced 'Doo-Doo'!

I'll be too busy trying to remember the names of the girls from last night to worry about old painting.

Funny how that works. What do you think about "bobo"? Would you say that should be pronounced "boo-boo" or "bough-bough"? I'd say definitely "bough-bough".

If I were stupid wealthy I would be way too eccentric.

I would start with a huge ranch similar to Neverland with an exotic zoo, rollercoasters, ferris wheel, water slides, go kart track. Id probably have tons of secret passages and rooms in the mansion. Definitely have a huge museum filled with fossils and artifacts.

When I was a kid all I wanted in my backyard was water slides. I loved going to water parks.

You're not suppose to talk about the secret passages! ;)

Antique/vintage pianos, a farm to raise my own animals for food, a high-powered telescope.....

    .... nothing really eccentric.

Thought of another one. Figure out a way to have a miniture giraffe. Don't know why, I just think a miniture giraffe the size of dog would be sweet.

That brings up an interesting point. If you had the money, create a completely self-sufficient ranch that had its own food and energy production. Windmills, solar, biodiesel generators, water filtration, etc. Raise organic vegetables and animals.

Another thing that would be neat to have if you had the money would be a vineyard in an unusual place. There is a bit of land near me (Lake of the Ozarks in MO) that is 176 acres with about 1000' of waterfront. A vineyard and winemaking chateau right on the water (there are some steep hills that would be terraced also and look beautiful with the vines) would be pretty cool. Right now it is just sitting unused, although it was a farm before the lake was created. The guy that owns it also owns a house near my parents on the lake and he isn't interested in selling. Not that I could swing the likely $2M price anyway.

Speaking of his house, it is on probably the best point lot in that section of the lake. Nearly perfectly flat and water on 3 sides. The house is older (point lots were built on first, 40 years ago) but nice. The guy went fishing on the lake as a kid and vowed that if that house ever came up for sale and he could afford it he would buy it. Well eventually it did, and he was, so he bought it a few years ago.

Isn't there a guy who has a full fledged "power station", a la generator running everything on his property?

I swear I saw something like that on Discovery, Travel Channel or one of those.

That is very cool. Its strange to think that the picture has outlived the whole species.

Amongst other things i would have one of these in my kitchen. A big Mr Whippy machine :D

That would be cool. Also, I'd like to breed one of those giant parakeets, like when Tweety Bird turned into a monster.
