I could use a good winch

    neither of my lifts are secured and they are on epoxy floors as well, (i have wheels to move them around) i have the non skid material in the epoxy, sort of like sand grains and they work well..i can understand driving up can be a bit un nerving..i use a marker on the left side to determine how far over I am before that I did lose a mirror once as i got to close!..i dont know about a winch though..as you would have to use the tow hook all the time? that would be a pain....

    neat...a movable lift, need to look into them, it opens what I can do with the new garage

    i only use the lift only for winter storage.
    i agree, i wouldn't want to use a toe (nose) hook each time the car was put in the garage!
    however, some people are fine with permanent nose hooks; just not my cup of tea.

    Yes, my lift even has a wheel kit from the manufacturer.
