Congrats!
John, Actually, you bought the 2nd generation TR, which starts in 1988.5 and goes to 1991 and the introduction of the 512TR. Yours is distinguished from the first gen by the addition of 5 bolt wheels, and slew of other minor changes that make it a significantly better car than the 1 gen.
You should part it out and tell everyone that Arlie told you to do it!! Nah, just kidding.....beautiful car...
I'm guessing this is your car ('90, 26K mi?). Courtesy of FOW. Sweet. Image Unavailable, Please Login
In reading many posts from folks here on FChat......many folks have multiple Ferraris with one being an "8" and one being a "12"...each with its own personality etc.....enjoy them both! ......M
yeah you're right, i keep overlooking that fact because the first two gens look the pretty much the same. david, yes that's the one. thanks all, it's been a dream for a while now! john
Great car! My first drive in a 12 cyl car was a TR and Ive wanted one ever since. They are way undervalued as far as im concerned, you wont regret it. P
i agree. it is the one car you can drop 60-70 k on and feel like you stole it! regardless of what the market thinks today, the tr is an immense machine w/ super hero presence not to be disputed. you cannot help but smile when you drive them as they make you feel like royalty!!! have so much fun! pcb
