    Hi Everyone! I did it! After wanting one my entire life I/we finally did it and purchased a Ferrari - a 2010 California with 9600 miles on it. Thanks to everyone in FerrariChat who shared their perspectives about buying from a South Florida dealer and gave suggestions (and to my wife who encouraged me to follow my heart and not my head). Can't wait for Friday when the car is delivered to my home (along with an accompanying marching band to get the neighbor's attention.)

    Thanks Larry! Why did you replace your California? My wife tells me I will probably want to replace it in a few years for "a better one" but I can't imagine getting tired of it.

    I had my first one a 2011 then decided to get an upgraded 2013 new with a few more options and I really liked it but the opportunity came to get an F12 slot and I really wanted the F12 so thats what I did and something had to go so someone got a very nice california .....

    Congrats on your dream come true. As long as you have wanted it all along and have done your budgeting and homework, there should be no regrets with Ferrari ownership no matter the model.

    One twist of that key and the mystique of an Italian exotic car is immediately obvious. Happy motoring!!

    Last Saturday my wife and I went back to the dealer to sign the paperwork and give them a check and my wife took the car out for a spin along A1A. Every time she stepped on the accelerator and heard that deep gurgling engine growl she got this huge grin on her face and giggled. Every time! You'd have thought she was 18 again. Priceless!

    Friday can't come soon enough.
