I don't need to drive the fcar fast to enjoy

The car is meant to be driven "spiritedly". No one says you have to be on it full time. I enjoy any car I can put thru its paces that provides one thing regardless of speed.....it brings a smile to my face and a positive feeling within me. That sir is what I paid for.

 

On public roads, I like to find the curvy ones through the mountains out in the countryside.
I like to go just a little bit faster than normal, maybe 50 mph on a curvy road marked for 35 - 40 mph in the corners.
This is well within the car's limits and doesn't make it too dangerous.
Just fast enough to feel the car holding the corners.

On the track, I like to go as fast as my skills allow, which is well below what the car can do.
So, somewhere around 145 mph on the long straights and maybe 50 - 75 mph through the corners.
Lots of people on the track are faster than me but I like to stay safe.

Cruising on the freeways in my sweet thing is enjoyable without going over the limit. Those who do not know what it is will always loss to me. Ha-ha.
Driving the breast does not require going fast, just quicker than the others.

I too enjoy "driving" the breast.

 

I can't remember the last time I had it over 65mph. I usually drive it locally or to the golf course. Then again I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 4 hour drive on the thruway. I don't need the speed to get the Ferrari experience. It's more like "see what I have achieved to myself" then the need for speed. I as many others still have to go look at it in the garage even though I'm not going for a ride, LOL.

 

I took a couple friends with me on a trip to some wineries and into the country. Never went too fast but they did comment that I like playing with the engines torque. It just feels great regardless. That is what impresses car guys the most I think, that it feels great regardless of how it is driven. It's also hard to drive in a spirited manner during each moment when one is on an 1800 mile trip cross country. I use mine mostly like a DD so mostly it's a relaxing drive. However my car is no stranger to it's redline and I've had it to 145 in a controlled environment. It does everything and I don't try to drive it a certain way, I just enjoy myself in the moment.

I drive my car in 3 ways:
1. like a normal car around town
2. fast acceleration/braking and steering. Makes you and the car feel alive and connected. I'll only do this if conditions are safe
3. conducting the V12 symphony. Make the exhaust boom, pop and rumble as much as possible whlilst the engine sings

 

Same, but it really didn't feel complete until I added the fake shields.

 

When you're 15 you want to get on it all the time………not in your 40's.

All relative.

 

I still want to as much as when I was 15.

I drive mine as a daily driver and a lot of the time going the speed limit which is hard for me to do. However I drive it like I stole it as much as humanly possible which is 90% of the time.

 

Seems faster with the top down...90% of my driving on twisty mountain roads.

 

Mine seems faster with the windows down too. It lets the Level 2 Capristo Exhaust note bounce off the buildings/walls and right to my spine!!!! Once I get to ~50 mph or so the wind starts to compete

 

+1. Farts are still funny.

 

I think this is true for most cars, but for me, not while I'm driving a Ferrari. Doesn't help that the exhaust valves open up at around 3500 RPMs either.

 

I enjoy driving on the Road and I enjoy driving on the Track.

I'm calm on the Road and 7/10 on the Track these days which is fun for me.

I love that pic., the P3/4 looks so out-of place like someone Photoshopped it in,lol but of course its real..

 

You may be the only calm one there.

 

Believe it or not, in my 308 I have had as much fun in traffic jams with young kids faces glued to the windows of their parent's cars looking at mine and waving, as anywhere else.

 

that may be one of the coolest things ever.
