Hello all.. Ive been lurking around here for a bit and finally pulled the trigger on my first Ferrari at Mecum this week. I Bought an F355 spider manual box with 11k miles on it. Very clean car. Its gonna make a great addition to my collection. I will probably flood you guys with questions when I get it home next week... Sorry in advance. Couple of pics of it right before they put it on the transporter..

Welcome aboard, you driven one before? If not, can't wait to hear your feedback once you get behind the wheel and heat her up. You will love the sound of the car at higher rpm's.

I believe it was serviced in Miami. I will give a better service history after it all gets here and I go through everything. All of those documents are in the back of my buddies Roush mustang that's on the transporter too. We locked it all in his trunk for safety reasons while they were in the sold lot, along with the tool kit and all the books. Not that I don't trust ppl, but u know..... As for ever driving one.. Nope, never driven one at all. LOL Just knew that I wanted a super clean one to cruise in that had been taken care of. And I fell in love with it the night before it went across the block... I don't think I will be disappointed driving the 355. Especially since its a manual box... Eric

It hammered at 63k. Reserve was 61k. I had one other guy against me, and I shook him off at 62k. We drank some celebration Bud Lights that afternoon!! Actually we drank all week. That's probably what led to us buying 3 cars , Sure was fun though...

Well, she finally arrived last week.. Pretty uneventful trip with reliable carriers. They are quite good at what they do, and I probably had the best driver in their fleet. Anyway, After I gave my new girl a good bath and a quick buff and wax here she is... Of course I had to deal with some sluggish convertible top issues. Lets just say that Ferrari of Long Island( where the top was serviced last summer) needs a refresher course on 355 top repair. I can teach them anytime they need it now.. LOL Here are a few pics. Sorry about the overlap of other cars in the pics. I wasn't pulling anything outside in the snow... I cant wait for the snow to melt so I can run this car!!!

Welcome to the brotherhood Eric. I too will be interested to hear about your first impressions when you finally get to take her out in the spring. Unlike your other cars listed though, I think you may find the low-end torque a little disappointing on the Ferrari. Kind of like a two-stroke vs. four stroke comparison. But don't let that fool you. Once you get her wound up in her ideal operating range (5-8,000 RPM's), there is nothing else quite like the unique sound and performance you'll experience. Have fun!

    Henry
