    Back in '95, I'm remembering when I traded my 1st Porsche 993 RS for a CC 25th... what a thrill !

    Ha nice car :)

I'm the third owner of the car, it has 9700KM on it and everything is stock. It just had all the services done 2 months ago at Manhattan Motorcars which is where I bought it.

How about yours? Anything you have done that you would recommend? Have you thought about putting a front euro bumper on...I'm thinking about that.

first off congrats, it is a beautiful and stunning car that will turn heads everywhere! I'm also sure it's a blast to drive, regardless of how stiff the shifter is or how heavey the clutch will be :) We are real men here who love mechanicals and are built to shift gears with our legs and forearms and not with our fingers :)

My question pertains to the rear of the car where the turn lights are, is that rear part of the car in plastic or is it metal?

Thanks for sharing your ride with us. As the anniv. countach was one of my childhood dream cars.

    That part is plastic.

And yes the clutch is heavy, the shifter is stiff and the steering is tight, but this is how a sports car was meant to be!

    Beautiful Countach!

You've GOT to put the Euro front bumper on it, that USA bumper is a crime against humanity!

I do agree the frt bumper looks terrible in photos, standing around the car it doesn't bother me so much, maybe to much else to look at. In time it will go.

    Basically all stock

Services done... annually..oil & filter, brake fluid, clutch fluid... biannually antifreeze flush. NEW... plugs, wires, dist. cap, air filters, radiator cap/expansion tank cap, replaced the rubber coolant hoses, ( RECOMMEND ) I added a license plate frame with plate light and brake light down low on the muffler heat shield as I did not want holes drilled into the rear section between the lights.

I'd need to check my log to see what I'm forgetting...

The car has 1273klm on the clock, I purchased it with with 8?? hundred and something on it then. Some day I'll catch you, and I'm looking forward to every mile.:)

Yes I want to do the front bumper eventually.

    PM sent.

    Congratulations on the car.

    - remove Darth's front bumper, for the clean euro look. The euro trim strip should be available, from the factory.

Around town, try to drive the car like a truck, in an effort to protect the life of the clutch. Try to time traffic lights and avoid streets with a lot of stops. When you are stopped, the car should need 1,000 - 1,500 rpms, to move in first gear.

After you have spent more time with the car, it will become easier to drive. When you reach fun speeds, the car will begin to make more sense.

    Nice looking car !

    Enjoy it.

Not the intention of the purpose, but IMO, this is going to turn out to be one hell of an investment in years to come. Certainly more than the 430.

When I told my friends what I was doing they all thought I was crazy. So far everyone that's seen the Countach said I made the right decision. There's nothing like being up close and personal with a Countach...much different experience than with the 430

430 is one hell of a modern exotic. The Countach, though, is otherworldly.

    nice change!! :)

i would agree on putting an euro bumper on (keep the US bumper on the box)
and put a sport exhaust on

I kept my CC 25th only one year and I had 3 more RS, one with Club Sport options (front slippers & rear wing) then a real Club Sport M003 welded roll cage and my favourite a 993 RSR.

Congrats on thinking outside the box... At the Evans show with 15countachs I think
only one had the crash bumper still on (and this winter is scheduled to be changed).
Thank goodness those are going away.
