I fit in a 77' 308 GTB, will I fit in a Lotus Esprit?

The 308 is not known for being accomodating to tall drivers, but if you find yourself comfortable in one, then you should be more so in the Esprit. I am not 6'3 but have sat in both cars and can say that the latter has a tad more room.

Interesting... I'm 5-8 sothat's a lot shorter, but I feel I have a lot more room in the 308 than the Esprit. I mostly drive the 308 with the top off, so that may cahnge the feel, but overall I feel a lot more confined in the Esprit.

 

I fit ok in a 308GTB, not the GTS - that extra inch made all the difference.

The '98 Esprit TT I looked at fit ok.

 

Just went out to the garage and put the top on the GTS... at 5'-8", I've got about 3 1/2-4" of headroom. In the Esprit (88) it's more like 3- 3 1/2" of head room so a little less overall headroom.

And like I said before, with the high "tunnel" in the esprit and the rake of the windsheild, I've got a lot less overall room and apparent visibility.

I have a hard time imagining being much taller than 5-8, 5-10 and trying to fint in either....don't let that stop you by any means though =)

 

I'm 6' 2.5" and fit fine in an Esprit S1. It's a bit tight with a helmet on. Later Esprits have more room.

 

Wow. At 6', 175lbs, I feel cramped in my '86 HCI, comfortable in my '95 S4s.

 

I'm 6'3" and use my S4 at least 3 days a week. I have no problem other than seeing when the light turns green if the top isn't off.

 

I sat in an early 90's lotus and it was a rather snug fit but since im probably the biggest person here you shouldn't have any problems.

Now for head room your on your own, im short.
