I picked her up Friday night. Even in LA rush hour traffic it was a blast! She's #44815 a 1983 512BBi with 25,400km, original red with black boxer trim paint, excellent black interior with leather headliner, original working equalizer and radio. It's an Amerispec conversion with California BAR sticker. Wow, having those twelve cylinders right in the small of your back is a phenomenal feeling. Driving this car is the rush an early eighties high school kid (me!) dreamed it would be. I think I'm going to go out to the garage and sit in it again, where did I put that box with my old eighties cassettes? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, I actually bought the car from the private owner through his collectorcartrader ad. I never saw it at N. A. This shot was from a fellow SoCal FChats post. I still have to take some photos of it.
congrats! i'm definitely feeling you for completing your high school dream! soon, i will get a hold on mine! hehe..but still trying to figure out the pros and cons for the years though...have you just bought it right away? or have you done enough research for which year have the least problems..etc..etc..? thanks in advance, Regards, freshyip
