Are you using google.com or some localized version? ZA9C005A0GLA12914 comes up for me on google.com. -mick
Some stories are just amazing. I initially thought that the guy or his wife had double thoughts on selling at the low price of $110K for a spotless DD and wanted to kill the deal. But the 355 crash story and the relisting at $114K show this is not so. It is a shame because there are not too many good DD here. the CT seems genuine from an prior long thread but now one has to worry about a hidden crash unless the 355 story can be disproved. I guess the CT is still legit for sale but a serious PPI will be in order. I'll be honest I'll have the 110K for a 2nd CT DD, i'll go see the car. But a deal must be done payment at the time the PPI is done and the car, keys and title are in a 3rd party hands. The low price for a DD worries me. Something may not be right thou. This car can be picked up from Europe for nothing. Has the seller responded to all these late findings?
Yes, I used google.com but nothing came up. After searching many times it came up finally. I believe it has something to do with google ranking system as indicated by Raymond!
I guess it is true what they say, more money, more problems. I don't have enough problems to afford a Lambo yet so I will have to continue to love them from afar. I'll stick with my po' folks supercar for now, the Subaru WRX. Frank with the vin ZA9C005A0GLA12914 sounds like a shady character, ZA9C005A0GLA12914. Long story short, Chad. He's been playing with another buyer. This is becoming very dangerous. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=274771
August/September summer holidays to be exactly, I know this by heart. Still this is 1985 car although it's MY 1986.
yes. but MY86 does not depend on F or G My car is officially titled as a 1986 car but its got FLA as september 85. Of course it is an 85 and I now get to enjoy my 25th year and no more emission BS ! I heard in Europe things got bad to worst from historic imports is now 30 years not 25 anymore. then it needs a technical inspection except if the car was initially destined for the euro market in which case it is exempt (thanks my car was initially for the French market!) As far as the deal on this car, the seller does not seem serious or tries to hide something whether it is about the car or the proceeds of the car. I have never seen a non professional seller trying to stick to "terms" like a GM dealer or an RM auction when a buyer is willing to pay the agreed price. Yes terms are terms but at the end good business is good business made by willing people. And this is not good business.
Yes it does. The model year of the car as based on the 10th digit in the vin is always accurate in that its a legal statement from the manufacturer. The cars level of regulatory compliance will be based on this. Insurance companies also key off this. Title date is wishy washy - its normally based on the vin year digit but sometimes is based on build date. -mick
I see our the dearly departed X has posted videos of the car on you tube. I don't know how to bring it up on the site but if you check out "1986 Lamborghini Downdraft Countach" posted by yankeesrock1990 You will find the video. Perhaps some well placed Youtube comments are in order.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMLs-51VDsw I'd almost guarantee that he has comments held for his own moderation. Good news is this thread shows up in a Google search for either version of the VIN he uses to advertise the car.
He has also posted today on L***Power, asking for a shop in his arfea to perform an independant PPI...???
What a load of utter feces he is shoveling out over there... "Waaaa, poor me! The guys on F-Chat were mean to me and ruined the sale of my car several times." Hope L-Power bans that liar.
I just posted over there...he "Blames" me and JOE for "sleeping" together on this deal and being in some kind of collusion to rip him from his car.. LOL LOL Maybe some people from here that go there will add some to my post.. as well as the 355 issue.. I wonder what this guy does for wrok, does he own a business, work for someone...?
