Wow, you have some serious issues... Does this constitute harassment on here? All for giving my opinion on some things that apparently contradict your own views? If that is the approach on this website, then I'm done. Thanks!
Before you plead guilty, get a copy of the radar survey. Make sure you were beyond the 80th percentile in the survey. If not, they shouldn't be able to convict you. Check the vehicle code. Art
That is correct, I have serious issues with repeated questionable claims. You are welcome to shut me down anytime. I admit I could be completely wrong. I'm man enough to sincerely apologize if I mischaracterized you. But so far these have been your recent posts. Can you honestly wonder why I smell Satan's ass? 1) You posted a question why people have low miles on their cars here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-discussion-not-model-specific-sponsored-algar-ferrari/501177-why-so-many-low-mileage-ferraris-out-there.html 2) You then posit that most affluent people (read: Ferrari owners) got their cars/wealth through inheritance not hard work http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferrari-discussion-not-model-specific-sponsored-algar-ferrari/502525-another-reason-why-non-racing-ferraris-should-have-manual-gearboxes-3.html 3) Then you claim you yourself are a rags to riches example of the American Dream and made it...have several graduate degrees from the Ivy League schools...own a MP4, and hobnob with billionaires. This is a internet forum my friend, if you didn't expect people to call you have not been on the web for long. Again, I readily admit, you can be 100% truthful and I have been an punk, if so I apologize - but so far I've seen so much contradictory and quite frankly off the wall posts - that I had to respond. You may truly be a Mclaren owner that really doesn't understand how some low mileage cars exist. You are a rags to riches story *yourself* yet ironically believe it is a rare and next to impossible to achieve what you have, and that most other Ferrari owners got it through inheritance. That you're an ultra lucky driver that's never gotten a speeding ticket in all your years of driving your many sporty cars or hanging out with your billionaire friends.
I asked about low mileage cars because I wonder what the drivers are for having low mileage cars. I even admitted, multiple times, to having low mileage cars myself. I still can't honestly understand putting only a couple thousand miles on a car over the span of a couple decades (like F40s with just delivery miles on them) but maybe I'm crazy to ask a question on a public forum? My assumption / post on how money helps make more money is something I stand beside 100%. There are many exceptions, but position at the start of life, helps people get to a place where they feel comfortable taking risks. Again, not sure why my opinion is so toxic to you or others. There are many on here who post what may be intentionally "Trollish" comments but that isn't where I'm coming from. As for the final comment, you are entirely characterizing my posts. I didn't say it like that at all, and I do feel like I was lucky in life for my path to be supported by parents who valued education, and some lucky breaks. I do "hob nob" with billionaires but not sure why that is offensive? I assume there are plenty of billionaires on this very website, so what's the big deal? I'm not some rich guy, and have admitted that many times too. I'm a car enthusiast who grew up reading the magazines and books, and striving to make it for myself in part to afford these nice cars. I really don't know why all the anger but I feel like my time is wasted defending myself for posting opinions on a message board that (I thought) was to foster free exchange of ideas. Just because I said upward mobility is misstated in this country I deserved your wrath? Oh, and lord knows that not getting a speeding ticket is indicative of me being some 18 year old in my mom's basement...
no worries super_dave - now that you've disclosed you won the powerball - everything is clear now. totally appreciate it. I will stop challenging you. I wish you and your family the best. Cheers
