Mondial t cab black/ivory I bought it in Roma (Italy),sent it to Maranello where Toni Auto did the major service (40000km/30000miles) plus brakes, clutch and ac compressor. I just brought back this beauty to my place in the south of France (Aix en Provence) I have to thank everybody on this forum for the help I received reading the testimonies when I was looking for the car Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Felicitations! I agree with Wade, black is a great color for Mondials, probably the best. (Plus how cool is it to have your major service done in Maranello!)
thx everybody, it's good to receive nice feedback for such a purchase. I agree, I love them black and that's why i bought mine in Italy, this is the only place in Europe where I could find one with clear history, low mileage. In France, you can find only red or yellow, wich i like on a real sport car but not on a mondial. there's something weird in the contrast between red body and black top. but this is my own taste and I respect the other ones. I confess there's something magic to have your service book stamped in Maranello, plus the fact the cost was 50% less than in France i join pictures of Toni Auto, he's an authorized Ferrari from the first days of Maranello, this is now the 3d generation who works on the cars Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great looking convertible. Looks like new - and double smart in black. (A Tubi on the T sounds stunning - but not overpowering) Happy motoring. Beau
Congrats on your purchase, and thanks for posting the great pics of the garage in IT. It seems like every time I see pictures on FChat of Euro Ferrari service garages, there are always GT4s up on lifts with more modern cars. I love it! I think if I were to take my GT4 up to FoSF or FoSV, there would probably be a few strange looks and a lot of head scratching by the techs! (no disrespect to either of those fine establishments, of course)
Use it in good health! I picked up my new Mondy 3.2 qv on Wednesday and I feel like The Joker. I cannot get this grin off my face!
thanks again for your posts these days i register my car in France, I had to pass 2 technical controls, 1 for the state and 1 for Ferrari, on the first one they check all security parts: brakes, lights, shock absorbers, steering. On the 2nd one, Ferrari France checks all the numbers of the car and if the frame was repaired from a serious accident Well this is done, no problem at all, now I have to wait for 2 month that Ferrari sends me official papers My problem is that everyday I want to drive it, I already did 1200 km, more in 1 week than the previous owner in one year !
