I never expected to find it like this in my mail box. This hasn't been the first time that this has happened. I would guess my psychotic local mailman is not an automotive fan or this guy has some serious issues. I'm going to take it upon myself & contacting his superiors & getting whatever the problem is resolved.

What burns me up is that our mail lady is too lazy to deliver a package to the door so she just leaves the notice stating she tried to deliver and nobody was home. I have actually sat in the house and watched her leave a notice on our mailbox instead of walking to our door and knocking.

    Very frustrating these people.

Thanks all i am very proud of this issue (especially the Jim Hall stuff) have you seen anything lately where he has been quoted like that? It makes me very happy that he likes me enough to put up with me.

Jim M., that was the greatest issue yet! And I said that about the last one. You should make a poster out of the cover. That would be great to hang in the garage. Starsky

So how do you guys determine your freebie issues? So far I haven't missed one, either because my mom got them (no idea why) or my dad got them (with the business name under it).

I'm not complaining, it gives me something other than Sportscar to read whilst reigning over my kingdom. :D

Jim, a great issue! Like Phil, I also followed Jim Hall's career closely--he was a true innovator! My issue came unscathed.

I got mine too. It came in perfect condition. Thanks Jim, I always enjoy them. I am still trying to get ahold of my friend to see if he still has his collection of miscellaneous cars and classic motorcycles. The motorcycles are a very good collection of about 25 of them from 1913 H/D to WW2 desert sidecars with machine guns to 60's vintage Triumph and BSA Victor to BMW's of all years. I am hoping he has not gotten rid of them as I have not heard from him in three years and he was considering disposing of the collection then. I will let you know and if he still has them, maybe I can get you in to meet him and view them. He is in Arlington......
