Firstly, you can order the dashtop in leather, as well as the seats. Basically, you can have the entire interior without a trace of alcantara. No traction control? Where did you get this information? That is absolutely false.
The top of the dash being converted to leather is a dealer-based hack job. It is NOT an official Ferrari option. Just left a message with my friend that took delivery of his Titanium 360CS last month (he's the one I got the rides in) to verify his statement to me that the car has no ASR system. He's owned two 360s previously, so I didn't question it at all. I'll update with a correction post if you turn out to be correct kizdan.
its funny, everybody seems to be talking about exterior styling, but imho, interior styiling is just as important. I might pick the gallardo for the better performance, but I think the 360 series (all of them) have far nicer interiors, the gallardo interior looks like an A4, wish they hadn't used cheap lookind door handles, handbrake, gauge faces, and heater/stereo unit..other than those relatively minor issues, its ergonomically perfect. Seats look perfect.
The car does use some A8 interior componants and is better for it. This is one area that the car really shines over the Ferrari.
Much better than Ferrari. Suede headliner hand stiched leather everywhere and all that luxury doesn't seem to slow it down???? Imagine that?
