That is a life experience. Glad it has a happy ending. Now you can remove "walk away from a nasty accident" from your bucket list.

Hey John it's Brian lived in queens harbour with red 360 sorry to see your car wrecked but a true Ferrari takes a hit like a champ and you walked away to drive another day. I had many friends call me wondering if it was me. Guess there isnt to many red ferraris in Jacksonville lol

....and in 30 years we will hear all of the moans and groans about the evils of the 599's that have been lost to the production of replicas and fakes and how it should be restored to being a 599....

 

Posters on Jalopnik are such a bunch of jealous 'hats. Every one of them would jump into an FCar if they had the chance. Every one. The fact that the owner will be in another 599 in less than a week is the best "$%*k you" to the jealous little man syndrome.

 

Not so with older models.

 

My daughter and husband were hit by a semi on the way to LAX airport, It was dark. He pulled over on her . No injuries, thank God. The truck never stopped. I asked her if he knew he hit her! She said he knew, the car spun with 360s all over 6 lanes of traffic in front of him. Then a man in a brand new Audi couldn,t stop and T boned her car. Her Toyota was totaled. many witnessed the accident and called 911 but they never caught the truck.

No because this would be a period modification not the destruction of a 30+ year old car, ie. you can still buy brand new 599's so they are replaceable. If you could purchase a brand new 250 GT 2+2 nobody would complain about the replicas.
