    Man, that sucks Doc.

So what about the flat? Did you fix it yourself with the ever-so-fun jack that comes with your car or did you call AAA?

Get any strange reactions or wise cracking comments from folks driving by?

    AAA all the way.

They patched the tire, filled it and I drove it to my home here.

I am having a replacement fed exed here to replace it.

    Fun I tell you!!!

"Rush" hour and all, how fast a clip were you moving when flat occurred?
Did you have to pull over to left or right lane?
If "left" - did visibility allow rubber-necking to increase exponentially?

My 348 manual said "once the can is injected do not exceed 100mph"!!! That's safety.

Glad you made it back safe.

If I remember correctly you had a flat about a year ago and fixed it with the magic inflator can. Did that wreck the tyre?

Are you driving around looking for broken glass and rusty nails?!

Once you've used the "magic inflator can" to get to you home/workshop etc. you're not supposed to use that tire anymore.
The rubber-stuff in the can is applicated unevenly inside the tire which will cause inbalance.
The best thing is to replace the tire (or both if they wore in bad shape) as soon as posible.

Yes I did last time. This time the patch was enough to hold till I got the new tire. One Flat cans are great as a stop gap, but yes, the tire is then useless for serious driving and must be replaced.
