Just be aware this car can bite if not careful. When new, there were many reports on the Porsche forum of new owners wrapping the car around trees and telephone poles when driving their brand new car home.
Congrats, it's a very good time to buy CGT. No roof over head, V10 sound, manual and do you need anything more to enjoy the good Australian weather? No! Have fun and enjoy it
Congrats on your new addition - you are building a very nice collection! Always enjoy your videos as well.
You're on the wrong side of the road, mate! I love my yellow CGT. 14K miles of fun. Find yourself a tunnel, drop it down to 2nd gear and run it up to 8K rpms!
I’m loving the CGT... so much, I had to write an article! Took it through a tunnel and my god, the best sounding car, so F1 that it makes my spine tingle. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/is-the-porsche-carrera-gt-the-last-analogue-hypercar_us_5a19fb23e4b0bf1467a84706
Congrats on the car. The Carrera GT to me is certainly one of the very best cars ever to exist. And the normal drop links, not the +10.
Overblown reputation caused by over exuberant drivers too confident of own skills and used to be bailed out by ESP that car does not have. On today's better tires the car is very stable and easy to control as long as you stay within your own limits. Selling mine was the worst decision ever made.......
+1 they are still reasonably priced compared to other supercars that don't nearly sound as good as the CGT. You can probably find a nice one that was driven a bit to get a new clutch and full service and not worry about depreciation from further use.
I would if I could. Just finished our new house (triple original budget) that I financed on my own and committed to replace my daily S8 Plus with the new Panamera T S , have GT2RS coming and Lusso for my wife daily coming soon too. You can swallow only so much........
