I hate, hate, hate NBC!

First those stupid suckers put the GP on NBC instead of NBCSN so my DVR doesn't record it.

Then I wait all day for it to be replayed on NBCSN and it's Women's golf and Grecko Wrestling with Iran.

Unbelievable!!!! How does that even happen? Do they announce things like this? If so...they ought to do it better because I missed the memo...and the f-ing race!!!

 

I feel your pain. Just got home from work and realize the shooting in Orlando took over coverage. Search for the next recording and think I'm in luck. Then....WOMEN'S GOLF! Come on! I sat there until wrestling came on and finally over to my DVR Isle of Man TT. Anybody got a link to watch it?

 

Now it's some guy kissing the Stanley Cup

NBC doesn't give a crap about F1.

 

Worse than that, I scrolled through my DVR'd recording hoping to catch even the last half of the race. NBC rejoined the race on final lap,last few turns.

Spoiled even catching it tomorrow.......

It's horrible when TV stations do this, they used to do this here I feel your pain

 

They actually moved it to sports channel for real time but didn't scroll anything. I was looking and found it then, but would have completely missed it. They didn't even show a rebroadcast.
No US network has ever cared about F1.

 

3.5 hours of golf and men wrestling. I did get the practice and qualifying...thanks NBC.

 

I just got home and was ready to wind down and watch the race. I'm ****ing as pissed as everyone else.

They had have real news outlets to cover this bull**** for hours on end repeating the same info over and over and over again.

+1, so disappointed....f'n golf. I mean seriously...I'm expecting Formula 1 racing, and in it's place is GOLF?! Guess I avoided twitter all day for no reason, might as well look now to see what happened...

I scrolled ahead a week and theres a bunch of Nitro Circus episodes they could replay it over.

They are replaying Indy Car though, so if they don't replay the GP that's flat out bull****.

Yes, NBC really ****ed it by not running a crawl when the race was supposed to be shown on the Big Peacock, but was moved to NBCSN. I never would have known but thankfully somebody posted it on the race thread.

Replay on NBCSN Monday afternoon at 4PM EDT.

How about the 4 minutes of racing between commercials?

 

I thought the scrolling text at 8pm EDT said that it would airing at 4am EDT Monday, which would be about 2 1/2 hours from now. But maybe you're right as the listings are full of infomercials and other crap, and show no F1 at that time.

 

I taped it on the Spanish language channel and they started at lap... 20

But at least I got to see the rest.

Download the race elsewhere, with decent commentary and no ads. They make it so difficult to watch it in the States it's your only option.

 

How does one do that?

 

My DVR recording got botched for the very same reason as everyone else.

Unfortunately, the NBC Sports Live Extra App doesn't allow viewing if a subscriber should happen to be out-of-country. I'm returning from Japan on Tues . . .

 

This is why God gave us VPN's......
