If you want to keep mice out of a car, just put drier sheets like Bounce around and in the car. Some under the front hood, some under the rear, and a couple inside. If the car is stored like over the winter I also put one in each exhaust pipe with some hanging out for easy removal. Mice hate the smell of these things and will stay away. They also smell alot better than moth balls. Those work too but smell like #$%@
all of this rain here has brought mice and rats out into the open. i had a rat in the middle of the kitchen floor this morning when i got up. little bastard chirped and jumped up in the air about 3 feet and took off under the dishwasher. i think we were both startled! full scale chemical warfare has been in use since i saw the little bastard. now i know why i have been seeing neighbor cats trying to get under the house. i took off the crawlspace panels this morning, so the cats cat hunt as they please.
