    ... after reading this:

No disrespect to women at all ... but if RS is such a **** driver that he cannot judge the size of his car enough to be able to park, what the fnck is he doing in a F1 car.

No wonder he cannot pass anybody ... probably thinks his car is 3 feet wider than it is!

Pathetic ... and wasting a seat!

    Ahh yes your right Pete.
But you forgetting the one thing that Toyota craves. Having a Schumacher behind the wheel of one of their cars. Hey to the un-informed to F1 he must be good, cause he has that magical surname!!!

One thing for sure that has come out of this....
    JPM's wife is certainy "hittable"

Look at JPM in that photo. What a moron. And she is alot better in r/l than that photo...

its my mission to "hit" that b1tch

Man you really wanted to talk about JPM's wife didn't you ... ;) :D ... I'm sure she is a stunner in r/l, but the photo she will hate IMO.

And yes loved that time wasting post of yours!

And yes Toyota continue to demonstrate that they do NOT understand F1, and yes they have the biggest budget that is being burnt by completely stupid decisions like hiring RS.

Ahhh come one Pete. Give me a break! :D
Wasnt a complete waste of time!*EDIT* (Just realised that your talking about my sig!!) I still think that Toyota are wanting to "bank" on the schumacher name in round-about terms....
And yes i agree with you that Toyota are wasting alot of money in F1, i just hope that they get their act together soon cause someone high up is gonna realise that their efforts in F1 are not that good and that its not helping them sell road cars. IMO of course.

    On a side note
    JPM's wife is still hitable....:D

    F1 does not need RS?
    I don't get it...
He did win 6 races so far and that places him behind MS, RB, DC and JV in the current F1 line-up.
If you say F1 doesn't need RS then I suppose it doesn't need Trulli, Fisichella or Heidfeld.
I think RS is a very fast driver but only when he feels like it. Maybe he will never win a WC but at least he can say he drove some fantastic races during his career. Also he is good in qualifying when it feels like it. (2004 Canadian GP : he did a brilliant lap in qualifying to get the pole-plus he was the last man to lap-)

His wife saying he can't park...
Maybe she was joking or something but its very hard to believe such a thing.
Has Ralf spoken to the medias about this statement that his wife made?

Fisichella & Heidfeld own their teammates.

Fisichella: Ralfie(rookie, i think), Wurz, Button, Sato (rookie), & Massa. Fast lappers at least...and Fisi beat all of them.
Sidenote: Won a race in the 03 Jordan...mighty impressive.

Heidfeld: Alesi (lost to Alesi 7-8, rookie year for Nick), Kimi (rookie), Massa (rookie), Frentzen, & Bruni (rookie). Not that impressive, but certainly good enough. He beat all his teammates except Alesi (not exactly slow).

Fisichella is fast period. He won a race on a lot less than MS ever had. :)
Nick is not a known quantity. He did beat Kimi though...although not in the most impressive of circumstances.

BS!!!!, MS won in a Ferrari back in '96 or '97 ... that was a miracle!

MS also won more than any other driving the same car that Fisi is driving. I know that many will be upset with my view of Fisi ... but if he was going to set the world on fire he would have by now!.

    I think you meant Pantano/Glock.

And I agree Fisichella is fast and so is Nick. Hope to see Nick in the Williams next year.
It will be good to see both Fisi and Nick in top teams.

Excuse me? You think the Ferrari of 96/97 was on the same level as a backmarker 2003 Jordan? Ferrari could at least make the claim as being reasonably fast in 96/97. The Jordan was dog slow. Period.

Ralf has had more crashes in road cars than most other drivers I can think of. Maybe he doesn't wear his glasses when he's driving or something? I don't rate him highly as a driver and I think Toyota have wasted a lot of money by signing him. Luckily they have a lot of money to waste, so good on Ralf for boosting his retirement fund.

As for Connie Montoya - definately veeery hot! I met her at Monza 2001, just after Juan had won the race. She's great! ;)

Man, those Ferrari 310/310B were not great cars, but not as bad as you think, and not as bad as a Jordan, of course. Even Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger managed to get a win each with those 412s, wich were much worse. But in the other hand, Fisichella´s win was quite lucky.

Everyway, we will see next year, with Fisichella in Renault...

Mike, you didn't calculate the JA/Km rate for drivers. That, of course, being the jacquesass per mile rate. Here in the 'States, it's somewhere around 14.3/mile. The density is pretty high, and surprisingly there's very little variation between surface streets, highways and interstates! Very little drop-off out in the rural areas at all. I've never been Down Under (Australia, that is) but I'm guessing it's a bit lower than here...:)

    Mr Payne and DeSoto,
Major appologies got my teams mixed up and drivers ... I was thinking Trulli in the Benetton (or Renault).

Yes winning anything in a Jordan was an even bigger miracle.

    PATRIEK,

So how long are you prepared to wait for the also ran drivers to make an impression. I have been watching F1 since er, well before I can remember (father a passionate race nut ... like me) ... probably late 70's is when I may have started taking notice (would have reached double figures in age).

If a driver has talent he is noticed and it does not take more than 3 (or 4) years before he is in a top team.

Even Webber who started in the Minardi is now in a top team. Fisi and Heidfield have been field fillers longer than Kimi (for example) has even sat in a F1 car.

Thus IMO if they have not been noticed by now then it is 'cause the team managers know they really have little to offer.

Yes Williams have Heidfield now ... but he is a last minute 'oh **** we cannot find a decent driver, thus Heidfield will have to do, as the best of the lack luster rest. Heidfield will be an acceptable number 2, and will crash less cars than Pissaboy.

As I have said before the main problem with F1 at the moment is the lack of racing drivers on the grid. It is not 100% their fault, it is the huge corporate pressure to finish well ... thus most are too scared to take a risk and actually race their cars. This is one of the reasons why MS has so little opposition.

In the end I believe strongly that there are far better drivers currently racing in F3 or F3000 than some of the rich play boy type racers (Fisi and Trulli for example) and unfortunately because they cannot scrape up the cash they are stuck in the lower formula.

Now Bernie when are you going to address that issue? ... maybe share some of the money around so the teams can choose based on talent alone.

    Pete :)
    ps: Merry Christmas.

What do you think of Liuzzi (04 F3000 Champion)

I think he deserves to have a drive for next season. At first, I thought Red Bull were going with Liuzzi and Klien but now that DC has sign some say Klien will be #2.
Some say ...Ferrari would like to have Liuzzi when MS retires.

    Looks good ...
I though will be a little disappointed if Ferrari tie him up completely as a test driver. He should be racing (not in F1) so that he masters the skills of a racer ... and yes testing as well ;)

But definitely a driver of talent!
    Pete
