    A few months ago I pulled my expansion tank to refinish it.
    It had the OEM sticked on it.
    In my search to replace the OEM sticker, I found that no one had an EXACT replica of it, so I made my own.

    It took me quite a while to find a vendor that carried a material suitable for this application: foil, glue, ink, et cetera.

    I needed one, but I had to print a ton.

    So--
    If anyone needs an EXACT replica of a coolant expansion tank decal like mine (see photo), I HAVE THEM!!
    I am going to be selling them.
    Don't know the price yet, but less than what everyone is selling their poor "replicas".
    Just want to try and recoup the material costs I had to cover to find the right stuff.

    Not even close to a replica.
    Which is why I took the time to make it.
    I can't imagine someone taking the time to make the design file for that decal and not even considering to do it as close to a match as possible.

    If I could have a signature on my posts, it would read: If you're going to do it, do it right, and do it once.

    Did you want an original one or a replica? The one I got is a foil type label just like the original.

    Different font.
    Different font thickness.
    The degree range is in the wrong position.
    The finish did not match the OEM sticker I had.

    I am psychotic about details.
    I took it on the chin and got the correct product made.
    Some might want an exact replica, some may not care.
    Now it exists.

    The purpose of this exercise was for me to get a new decal.
    I had to print up a bunch to get my one.
    I figured I could help some people along the way.

    I am not opposed to producing different labels for different cars as I have a MASSIVE roll of foil sitting in my house (had to buy it myself to keep the cost low). As long as it is the same metallic foil and I have a super-duper hi res scan of your OEM decal, it can be done.

    Oh, BTW i did the same for some rare (Only 250 made) SAAB cars. I know how long it takes and the real PITA to make it 100%

    According to Italian Car Parts, there are two different version: pre '84 on metallic foil (this one) and '85+ on matte foil.

    I will leave it to you to determine if it's appropriate for your car.

    This is confusing because the font on my 85 and Barry's 76 look the same but the font on these new ones, which clearly matches that of the OP's, is much thicker, aside from whether the foil is shinny or matt.

    Are you sure that your sticker is the very original one and not a replica too?
    I've made a replica of my sticker, an exact replica, but I'm not sure if my sticker is the original one installed when the car was built.

    We need to see the exact sticker -the very original one- in order to do a proper replica.

    Based on what my tank looked like before refinishing it and the condition of the decal, I'm confident it's the OEM part.
    Based on MANY conversations I had with the owner before me and the one before him, I have no reason to believe either of them took the time to swap out something so trivial as a decal on the expansion tank. The work they did was to have the best "driver" out there.
