How much "real" info is in there? (I'm looking forward to the review! ) I have Peter Wrights book detailing Ferraris 2000 car, but part of the deal was it couldn't be released until 4 years had passed. In any event, I'm sure Maranello already have their copy Cheers, Ian
They have lots of info on some times and not so much on others. The F duct has tons of good info and diagrams since its banned now. Other things they will show older cars if its still a sensitive area, some RB4 stuff and older too.
Heres just a quick shot of a little of the F Duct stuff, they show where all of the piping is, where the air was diverted when not activated, and explain how it stalls the wing and lots of awesome information. You definitely can't find shots of the inner workings of a modern F1 car that are this detailed anywhere else, especially such a recent car, let alone the double world championship and by far best car on the grid. Very cool. I would be satisfied just to have a detailed compilation of the performance data of various F1 cars, especially the '80s turbo cars in full grenade trim and the 2000s V-10s at their peak.
