First thing I did today was drain the gas. I have never seen green gas before but there it was. I kept wondering if I was draining antifreeze. I flush the tanks with a gallon of fresh gas and then added four gallons.
I have installed a rebuilt starter and the engine did crank several times but did not start. I needed to know if the fuel pump was working so I removed an injector line and there was not a lot of pressure but there was some not so clear fluid. I guess the old gas in the line had not finished going through. I put the line back on and tried to start the engine but it would not crank.
It does have an Alpine sec-8048 alarm system that seems to be working. I will trace down the starter control relay tomorrow. And look at the fuel filter.

Any suggestions are welcomed. I have read the other starter problem threads and will follow that advice.

I was happy it cranked I'm going in the right direction.

If you search around, there is a way people cross a couple wires to get the fuel pump to run without cranking the engine, you might do that process to flush the lines and get a steady flow of fuel. Or maybe someone can jump in here if they know what it is.
