    ok guys,

if ANYBODY has a good lead on a VERY clean low mileage f430 coupe in stick shift I want one badly.

I will take red, silver, dark grey or yellow. no black or blue.

the newer the better. I don't even think they made manuals in 2009 but if they did that would be even better!!! but anything 2007 and newer is my goal unless the car is just perfect.

under 10k miles and no stories...I will pay appropriate market value and even more if the car is perfect!!

any dealers have a lead let me know.

the only car I have found is a 2006 coupe with only 350 miles at domani but at 155k it seems just a bit high.

    regards
    George

Be prepared to pay that and, perhaps, north of that. Especially for a 350 mile car...
    Jump on that car!

I understand that this car is mint and basically collectors condition but that's not my purpose. I will drive the car and drive it hard.

that car with just 2000 more miles on it will go for 125-130 all day long. and wholesale for 115-120 if lucky. it is not a highly optioned car.

I would rather find a car with about 2-6k miles and have all the campaigns ( header recalls etc) done .

the price actually doesn't scare me and if I find a good 2007-2008 I will easily pay more than that but hell for 25k more I could get a scuderia so 158k for a 2006 base coupe seems a bit odd.

and yes I know the scuderia is not manual hence the dilema lol....

350 miles in 7 years -- that is just stupid. It has still depreciated (okay not as much as one with higher miles) but whoever had that car just didn't enjoy it.

Pay a little more and get a better car, PERIOD! That car at Domani is the car to get, obviously. No Brainer...basically a brand new car in a time capsule. Those are always the cars that I find and buy. If I had seen that car, I would have bought it myself.
If you want to spend less, you will undoubtedly get a car with stories and problems...I don't like cars with stories and problems because they always cost you more money in the end. Plug and play...that is what that beauty at Domani is. Enjoy and happy negotiating. Keep us in the loop.

i tend to agree with you and please dont get me wrong . spending less is NOT my concern. i would easily go 180-190 if that 2006 was a 2008-2009 even though thats damn close to sticker for those cars.

i am just a little worried that an 8 year old car sitting like that is in WORSE condition than a car with a few thousand miles on it.

I have always heard that cars that dont get driven are the ones that always seem to have issues. Am i wrong on this?

upgraded stereo, I recently replaced all speakers and amp with new pioneer's in original housing so looks totally stock- no mods.

I sometimes wonder about this. I would assume that things like the rubber hoses and gaskets may be in worse condition, but the rest of the car almost undoubtedly would be in better condition from lack of use and wear and tear. I would think that you may need to spend some additional cash to get the car in proper running condition but, once you do, you'd then have a like-new car that's worth more than it's higher-mileage peers. Another way of looking at it is you'd have a low-mileage car that will enable you to put lots of miles on the car without concern of later having to sell a "high mileage" Ferrari (i.e., one with *gasp* over 10,000 miles on the clock. :))

As a owner of a 07 -430coupe with over 10kmiles on the odo I am always surprised by the constant desire for ultra-low milage samples of these cars?? These cars break like all other cars -secondary to use and wearing out of mechanical parts and because of faulty parts.
The former takes a long time even in these cars, the latter are just waiting to piss you off and you will never know till it happens. IT CAN'T HAPPEN UNLESS YOU DRIVE IT- so you demand a ultra low milage car driven 1-3000 miles maybe in warranty(these cars are all 5-9yrs old now) when it would be discovered and fixed at no cost, and now you start driving a 6yr old car that has never been tested for longevity of parts and BAM- things go wrong that would have been found in the first 3 years of warranty if the car was driven any reasonanble amount.
It takes a few thousand miles of driving these cars just to figure them out- shift points, road height- whats passable without damage etc. I still cant use the radio and I drive my car every day.
Every single Ferrari associated mechanic I have talked to in both California and Texas(they have alot between these 2 States) have all agreed that driving the car often without abuse is the best medicine for longevity.
It will take you a years worth of driving just to figure out which one of the mechanical noises coming from the engine bay are "dont worry about that-they all do it" versus " thats a little busy back there-lets take a look"
You have to drive your car or you will never know what you just spent all that money on except shiney red paint.

As I said above, buying a low-mileage car enables you to put lots of miles on the car without concern of later having to sell a high-mileage Ferrari. Being that I will cross the 10,000 mile mark after a few months of ownership and being that this will significantly affect what I get from the resale of the car, buying a car with "ultra-low" miles sounds pretty good to me.

    Congrats! Looks great!

Beautiful Lamborghini! I think that you will be very happy with that Gallardo. The RWD version you have is the one to get, from what I have heard from friends. I think a very good, smart buy. You have the warranty now for 3 years...drive the snot out of her!:)
...and for the love of Pete, don't save her for her next boyfriend!

I would not buy a 7 year old car with only 350 miles. It hasn't been driven enough, plain and simple. 3000-5000 miles is another story.

I have put approx 3000/year on mine since Dec 09. I figured I would drive it about that much. I also had a lot of warranty work done the first year. It only had 2K miles when I bought it. 07 430 BTW.

Does the 430 manual still have to 'warm up' to use 2nd gear?
