At first I thought you were nuts, but a $14K 360, you could put $40K into and come out ahead. Do you have or know of a good Ferrari shop where you live?

    Have fun.

Ceb39 at first I was a bit hesitant. But after inspecting the car .I bought it knowing that it's not going to be a hard project.
Here is what I paid till now
    13200 for the car
    100 towing it
    150 inspection charges
    On the list
    Needed parts 7000
    Paint 3500
    Labor 2000

One of my friends owns a shop that repairs exotics.

GaryR this picture from the Internet.

This is not my first project
    I restored
    67 Shelby 500
    66 mustang fastback
    65 Mustang fastback gt350r clone
    Build Gt40
    1975 911s undergoing restoration
    1930 Henry Ford hot rod
    66 Lincoln Continental
So rebuilding cars is what I do .
I will post pictures of the rebuild

Mine was real dirty, had a lot of CA desert sand, but not that bad!!!! Still in Europe, looking at the Ferrari factory RIGHT NOW!!!! We go on the tour tomorrow. Going on the normal Ferrari owners tour, is there anything else as a must see that is not on the tour?

    Looks fun :)

Interesting that vrsurgeon knew right away it might be from that part of the world. Is this common to have cars in this condition over there? If so, any good reason not to bring a few back to the US?

    Just thinking'

    Congratulations! $14K is a great deal for a F360.

We have some carbon fiber accessories that could really enhance your 360.

Nice project! Be certain to start a new thread when it commences. We are a crowd that needs pics, pics, and more pics of the resurrection process. Good luck with this project. I hope it doesn't get too out of control or expensive for you.

Wow. Car needs a lot of work, but I'd be willing to take a shot at fixing it up too if I could buy it for $14k!
