I just spec'ed out my new 430 coupe today. I have a bunch of questions about options and overall desirability. The car is as follows:

Blue Mirabeau (its a metallc color a few shades lighter than TDF blue)
Blue Scuro interior (inlcuding dash, headliner, steering wheel) Very dark blue almost looks like black.
    F-1 Trans
Challenge rear grill in carbon fiber
    Shields
    Aluminum calipers
    Leather headliner (250 GT quilted)
    Leather rear bench
    Blue stitching
    Electric seats
    Daytona seats
    Carbon fiber for driving zone
Carbon fiber for lower cabin zone
    Run flat tires with TPM
    Hi-Fi Sound

The car will also have bluetooth and the factory battery charger which are now standard equipment for cars built from May onward.

What do you think about the color combo (I wanted something different from the traditional red)?

Also, what do you think about the option list? I really didn't want the hi-fi sound but was told that it is a desirable option to have....

A couple comments. The hifi sound isn't that great, and the large center speaker between the two seats really eats into storage room. I had it on my last 360 and did not spec it on my 430. If you want quality sound in your car, it makes good sense to go to the aftermarket.

They have changed that for cars now being built. The two speakers in the middle of the seats have been eliminated and are not built into the rear shelf. That being said, I don't think it improves the sound that much.

I just locked on my July build car this week as well and ended up with an options list very similiar to yours except I included CCB's and rear parking sensors. I have the "Hi-Fi" option on my F430 Spider and I do not like how obtrusive the center two speakers are.

you should check out TDF blue over beige for a comparison if you like blue.

You must like blue. Do you have any photos of the colors you are talking about? Personally, I can't stand blue interiors. Have you considered maybe a dark natural leather color (sort of a dark version of what Nasharty has on his car). I guess it's personal taste and as long as you like it, that's the main thing. The darker blues with the tan interiors look great. I saw a stunning 550 in that combo onces and it looked first class.

My 360 was TDF. It's a nice color but the new Blue Mirabeau is a bit lighter and richer in my opinion.

+1! Mirabeau is too light IMHO. Tdf is the way to go if you want blue

My 360 was TDF blue with a Ciuo interior. Blue Scuro looks black unless you place it next to black and then you notice its a slightly different shade.

    Dump the hi fi.Worthless

Get a light interior color. The darker blue is too dark and does not give enough contrast.

Consider different wheels other than the standard i. e. polished wheels or Challenge wheels.

Consider yellow calipers and yellow tach again for contrast.

My 360 is blue scuro interior on Azzuro California. It's a beautiful combination.

I have seen the Azzuro with Sabbia and Tan interiors but feel the scuro was a better choice and was more elegant. Yes the others offer a great contrast, but I did not think the tan went well with Azzuro.

Make sure you get shields as well.

I'd dump the factory Hi-Fi also as the drivers are trash and the cost is absurd.

I'd dump the run flats and the TPMS as well.

Other than that it sounds great.

Mirabeau is a beautiful color that I have seen on a 360 spider.

I can send you photos of my all blue interior if you'd like to see it.

After seeing 'ball polished rims', I would change to that option.

The problem with ball polished rims is that when you scuff them up, you can not repair them and will need to buy a new rim. The standard rims are painted and thus can be repainted when scuffed.

I never thought of that angle...My wife never drives my cars and I have (with my fingers crossed) not scrapped any of the rims I've had on any of my cars.
