oh god
Had a look at the current model. I'm not solder 'n them, but I can see the potential. The salesman tried hard to make me switch, but I put up too much resistance.
I’m surprised at how few of them I see on the road. They’ve been around for a wire’ll now, but they are a very, very, long way away from making a real impact on conventional vehicle sales as far as I can see. I’d say the modern small turbo petrol engine has had more impact. It wasn’t that long ago that everyone was saying “diesel” was the way to go for the best mix of economy / power. Not any more.
Mark my words. I reckon it is only a matter of time before diesel particulates in the air become a health issue. And, their exhausts stink too.
That’s because you live in the inner-city lunatic lefty area of the most hard core Socialist city in Australia, where virtue signalling by rich wankers is the most important part of their lives. If you were brave enough to venture away from there you’d barely see one a day.
None of 'em up here. Ludicrous tank/charging capacity determines this as well as the starting price and practicality of type of vehicle. Diesel 4wd's rule..........and the odd Ferrari.
Non around our way,it’s all utes and Ferrari’s, pretty boring in the sticks Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Particulates are a health issue, but the worst offender, by a big margin, in Australia is open wood fires. Very hard to get any attention to the issue - too many people need or like them. Older diesels are the culprits for dirty exhausts, particularly 2 strokes. Their are laws about excessive smoke, but follow any truck in a tunnel and you wonder who enforces them.
I feel like I'm in Germany with the amount of Mercs, BMWs and arsehole Audi drivers where I live Why is it that Audi drivers are such pigs and think they have an entitled use of the road ??
