Hehe. Umm, maybe you don't understand the difference between racing flames and rice flames. I will have either
Take off all your cats and silencers and put straight pipes out the back, and mess around with the fuel pressure regs, then drive it as Enzo intended!! Surprisingly, even a standard 360C will spit flames out the back, if you're angry enough with it.
i've seen quite a few road tests where stock cars (Gallado SE, McLaren, Murcielago, 360 CS i think), they have this light blue color flame out of the exhaust and its quite small, not as "dramatic" as the photo above. Is that just take off the cats and silencers?
How does messing around with the fuel pressure regs do this? Doesn't the standard ECU shut the injectors off when the throttle is closed? ie overrrun. Hmm, what about on a carby car (apart from putting a spark plug in the exhaust stream, which will make it a rice flame) without compromising normal running tune.
I don't think Enzo intended anything. He just wanted our money, which I am happy to give, in exchange for one of his cars.
I remember some of the guys saying that my GT4 was shooting flames out the back at mallalla during the trackday for FNR Adelaide All I had to do was get the local boys to tune the carbs to run rich and then rev the ring out of it and overrun did the rest
Exactly... same principle for you ants... the on power excess fuel gets burned off on over run. hmmmmm. Moretti... learning more about your old GT4 engine I have here....!!
