    I would say roughly a 10% decrease in value for the car being white if comparable in other respects like mileage, service history, and condition. Maybe less than 10% on the higher value cars, but pretty close to 10% on cars under $125,000.

    Any other opinions are welcome.

    I'd be willing to go so far as say 20% given my experience in owning a white Ferrari, and shopping for white Ferrari's (pre-'95 F cars)

    It's because there is no other color that shows the lines of a car better than white. The absolute worst color if you want to show the lines of a car is black.
