As some of you may remember, I sold my 99 355F1 spider and my 360F1 coupe to get a 430F1. Don't get me wrong, I love my 430, it does everything well and has not given me one minute of trouble in 10K miles! Ahh, but the sound of that 355, the way it looked, the 430 seems like a giant in size compared to the 355. I really miss that car! With prices so cheap I am tempted to get another one. Long live the 355!
It hasn't even been a month that I sold my 355 and I miss it too. Terribly badly.... I don't think I will ever get that sound again in another car.
Now to the rest of the class...these are the perfect examples why you shouldn't sell your F355 in the first place. Hope we all learn a good lession from these poor folks.... I'm keep mine forever.
I miss my f355 gtb everyday that I go to work. It's the best feeling in the world opening up the garage and seeing her when I get home. I try to drive it as much as I can... Approximately 4000 miles in 8 months of ownership
Dan, I think that might be part of the problem. I know if I gave up my spider it would be hard not to get another.

It gives open air feel and sound, is trackable without having to add a rollbar*, and has coupe rear side window and roofline rather than the awkward look of top-up spider. *The rollbar in my 1998 355 F1 GTS was a factory installed option. *** MORE INFO AND PIX AT http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=139087003#post139087003 __________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just got back from a fantastic drive in my GTS. On narrow back roads, mostly 2nd and 3rd gear. Top off (and not even in the car). Occasional drizzle, but there is no reason to stop, so no worries. Crisp air. I could hear the leaves crunching under the tires and swirling in my wake. The engine sounds soooo good. The steering and suspension are perfect on uneven pavement and the car is small enough to slip past the rare oncoming car. The open top enhances the sensations ten fold. More than once I thought... what car could possibly be better?
