    If anyone could help I need a detail photo of the decklid hinge mounting arangement, (where the hinge arm bolts to the decklid). I think some where in the past mine was removed and was put back incorrectly. any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks a lot guys just what I needed ....and yes mine is backward
    the hinge is underneath the rail not on top as shown in your pics

    well i think it is, I am not at the car now so had to compare, but something is different, I will explore later today, thanks again

    Can't really be underneath. We don't know what your problem is, but if it is a case of the lid sitting to high (or too low) it might be the packers between the hinge and the lid that need attention. Be careful when you are working in there. The rubberised stuff on the trim finishers on the engine compartment is very fragile - you can damage it with just a fingernail never mind the lid!
