    I think it was Flightsim 2002 where they went to a toggle 3D cockpit view, but it was pretty blocky. I was on an old system as well. I need to load up Flightsim 2004 on my new computer and see how it runs.

    I took some basic flight instruction in 1977, but that's as far as it went. The real-world sims like MSFS and X-Plane got boring after I messed with them for awhile without any long-term training objectives. The Microsoft WWII Combat sims are a lot more fun and you can vary the difficulty of the flight model.
