I need a hotel room for Monterey.

GOOD LUCK, there was a web site for hotels at Monterey, try it in GOOGLE and they have helped me find rooms at all price levels

My wife and I have been to Monterey many times for meetings. There are two large hotels next to each other down town with an elevated walkway between them. The Monterey Convention Center is in one of them. However, there are many smaller "bed and breakfast" places to stay in and around Monterey and Carmel. Go by an office of the Southern California Automobile Association and pick up their tour book. It is excellent as it gives you a good deal of information about the different places to stay and what each provides for the visitors.

If you cant find a room, dont dispair. Keep trying farther and farther away untill you get one. Ive commuted 1 hour each way in years past. Its still worth it.
