I need a scrap piece of headliner material.....

    Anyone have any 308 "brown stripe" headliner material ? I need either a strip to go all the way across rear deck area about 1 1/2 inches wide. Or two small 2x2 inch square pieces. My headliner has two worn spots where the top has rested against it, right on the front edge. I wanna cover them with matching headliner material, to both cover the worn spots and to make a buffer against anymore wear, I just need a tiny bit. I called for priceing at World Upholstry and the smallest they sell is 1 meter,
    ($290.00 !!) Anyone have a small scrap left over, or any other alternative ideas ?

    I think I may be able to help you, but only in a couple of months if that's OK. I have a Black 328 with tan interior, and probably have the same two tone brown headliner. I recently bought a few meters to do a job on it. I think I'll have that much left over when I'm done. If someone else can help in the meantime please speak up. Otherwise I will let you know come March/April.

    John,Must say from the outset that i am new to Ferrari chat as well as new to my 308.I am however in the same shape as you when it comes to needing a small amt of brown stripe material.Mine is at the doorpost cover,that small alum.cover thats covered in this stuff.I would say mine is 12" long by about 6-8"wide so as to be able to fold over.Of course when they built this baby they used such a tiny amt. to cover it in the first place that one cant even fudge it.Please let me know if you found a small amt and perhaps i can use the same source.regards
