    The only way I can keep the engine running is to spray starter fluid into the intake. So if I had a trained monkey.....or I could replace the fuel pump. Not sure which is cheaper.

    The starter problem seems to be the security system. I found the starter control relay jiggled the wires just right and it has cranked every time.

    I don't think running a tight tolerance blueprinted aluminum engine using starting fluid is going to be very beneficial in the long run. Fuel pump is far cheaper and ensures an engine in the long run. Unless you get a monkey that likes to pedal of course.
