The Czec Republic to be specific. I'm in the St. Louis area and I have family over in the Czec Republic. I was hoping to go see them possibly in the spring this year. Problem is, I'm a student. I am working as hard as I can to save up, and I know I still have a lot of time, but I figured I would ask on here, seeing as there are some pretty expierenced people here. I remember seeing something, maybe in a movie though I'm not sure, about a being a package courier? I have no idea if this even exists, but any information, as well as suggestions, would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, Cameron

I used 1-800-flyeurope this spring and got a pretty good rate. They put me on American Airlines and I saved $100-200/ticket over what I could get from American directly. They are a 'consolidator' so you will have to give them your credit card number before actually getting ticketed, but I received my confirmed flight info within 24 hours as they promised. I immediately confirmed that it was a valid booking with American Airlines.

    No problems at all.

I am always seeking out the best fare possible for the European races we frequent. A good start is with www.kayak.com or www.bookingwiz.com - these are search engines that will link you to numerous sites where you can make the purchase. Just for grins I did SLT-PRG (St Louis to Prague) outbound 9/7 and return 9/14 - www.cheaptickets.com showed 1034 inc tax; 1-800flyeurope showed 1110.99. I've been searching for the best price/shortest time to go to Paris in June to go back to the 24 Hours of Le Mans again and came across this site www.travelation.com which has the best offering for my city pairs/time/etc. You might give them a try. There's still another one with low fares www.intratours.com

    Good luck.

Check Craigslist. There are always people bailing on tickets or willing to sell miles. Caveat emptor.

If you're a student and under 25, check STA (www.statravel.com). They do student airfares and will get you an "international student card" that lets you save on things like museums, train passes, etc.

statravel.com is good, so is studentuniverse.com.

be aware that sometimes student airfares are more than normal airfares. also, LOTS of restrctions on those fares.
