    HI all,

I'm modifying an Autoart Diablo into a SE30 using an APM transkit. Only thing is, the resin engine cover is warped. I'm sure there are ways of getting it back to its original shape but does anyone know how?

I thought you put it in hot water or something but that didn't seem to work.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Hot water would help you pretty much only with regular plastic models.Since resin is very much brittle the situation with it is called-tough luck.Try to return it and get an exchange for the piece.

If you can't return it, hot water should work. Specially with resin. Bend the warm/hot part slightly "over" from what you need. After that hold it in its position and use cold water to cool it down.
