    I have an employee who should purchase a new Lotus thingy. I have seen it a few times but do not remember its name. Can anyone help me find a place to buy one of the new Lotus cars? I am in Southern California. For those new to the InterNet, I am in the United States of America.

    That "thingy" is an Elise. I talked to a guy who just got his from Newport Auto Center on PCH. There's a waiting list and they are going for $20K over on ebay according to this guy.

    Yep, the little 2000lb 190hp monster-- thats the new one (to the states at least, it's been around a few years in the UK). As previously stated- check www.lotuscars.com for the dealers...

    I went to the Lotus dealership in Porchester, NY and he said there was a 14 month waiting list but could get you one for list- he already has/had one coming in for trade... No reason to pay even a grand over list..

    good luck, i have a friend that was supposed to take delivery in june....yeah, june...every month the date is pushed back. When he does get it, it will be fun.........good luck

    I think there is an authorized dealer in Costa Mesa. Newport European on Harbor Blvd. They are also the Rolls Royce Dealer.
