Hi friends I'm very happy with my mondial T cab but I've got this strange feeling that the power is a bit stopped in high revs. I don't want to touch the engine that works well (major service done 800 miles ago), do you think a better air filter and exhaust can change this. Please share your experience and mention brands and prices
I recommend a K&N air filter and Tubi or Capristo exhaust. I don't know what emission regulations are like in France, but can't be as bad as the U.S. bon chance.
Merci Jungathart regulations are better. Anyway it's forbidden to modify anything. You have to assume police can arrest you, give you a reasonable fee and oblige you to mount original installation. with the K/N filter do you keep the original air box or use the small carbon cylinders ?
Last time I looked, K&N didn't have a filter to fit my Mondial t. I did however, install Hyperflows & the new X-OSt silencer. I love the increased performance, cooler running temps and, last but certainally not least, the amazing sound.
I can't find any website about X-ost exhaust, last question, is it necessary to upgrade the chipset if you modify filters and exhaust ? and apart from the noise and the psychological improvement it gives, are these modifications really efficient and worth the money it costs ?
There is a K&N filter for the Mondial t. It is part number #33-2656 It probably won't affect performance nearly as much as the Hyperflows and X-OSt, though.

I have a sound clip of a Stebro on my 3.4 liter T: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1maYzWhJ0k0 This was a Ferrari Club drag day - and that is me next to that Testarossa. The Stebro is pretty good. I have a Borla for the Mondial T as well. It is a deeper tone. Very nice too. For sale in the classifieds here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/ferrariads/showproduct.php?product=2137&sort=1&cat=13&page=3
Un pot Tubi sera tolere par la Police. J'ai pls amis Ferraristes a paris qui ont change le pot par un Tubi ou simplement des tubes et la Police ne les a jamais arrete et ordonne de revenir a l'original.
Sure you may. I got a real buy on the Stebro $1200 I think? So I wanted to try it. Its an easy swap, and I like to play with the car. It was fun, I planned on swapping back again just for fun, but I just have not gotten it done. They are both cool pipes.
I have one coming my way for about the same price. I am eager to hear it live! (Had I known earlier about your Borla for sale, I would have bought it). Did you notice a real performance improvement, or is it just the sound?
I dynoed it, there are gains to be had! You will enjoy sound, reduced weight, and a power gain. Win-win-win.
