    Does anyone know a source in the US that sells the camera mount pictured here:

    That is exactly the mount I need... but can't find a source in the US... and
    the Rugged Peak have a really long (too long) potential wait.

    I have used something like this to mount my camcorder

    the product information gives details on how to mount and I bought two to secure the cam in a forward direction. Cost cheaper too.
