I need to sell a wedding dress...

While a friend of mine was cleaning out her house before moving into a new house. Much un-needed things she was throwing out or giving away since life moves on from the past. What I obtained:
- wedding photo album (pictures would be removed)
- wedding dress (which would actually fit me quite well since we are approximately the same size in body frame - she is quite thin and I'm not a hefty guy by any means)

So... should I post it up on ebay for sale with me wearing the dress to get attention? Or would I get scammed like the other guy? Or would I just be called a copycat (who cares?) and get crap for that?

The dress itself ran approximately $900 + $90 in alterations from what I understand. If you or someone you know needs a dress, drop me a line and I'll give you details. Or else.. if I cannot sell it, it will go straight to Goodwill, because this is an item the battered womens' shelter cannot utilize.


And btw, she's a member of Fchat and checks this site on occassion, she probably doesn't mind me posting this at all.

 

I might just have to lay it out, take some shots... maybe even put smiley faces over a wedding scan. hrmmmmm.
