Hiya all... Im asking a massive favour from any Ferrari owners out there.. My fiance (Alex) has his birthday on 10 July and i was going to see if i could get a group of you together to treat him to a seat in your ferrari. He has a specific love for 348's (he saw one today and thats what gave me this idea!) His dream is to own a 348 and i know he would appreciate it even if he just got to sit in a 348 or have a ride in a ferrari full stop. As i dont have a login for this forum, im having to use Alex's login so i would appreciate if no one PM'd him as I'd like to keep this as a surprise. IF any out there can help me in anyway, just even 2 or 3 of you i would appreciate it. If you can help me please contact me by email on [email protected] or [email protected]. Again, if i could ask that no one sends private messages that would be great!! Thanks in advance for your help.
This can not be for real. First post...........email address sexxycheryl69........ If this turns out to be legit. let me know.
It does seem a little odd, Alex didn't actually HAVE a login until you gave him one? Seriously, there is zero information, not even whereabouts you are, so please pardon our scepticism. Most of us will go out of our way to help someone out... but a little more detail would be appreciated please Cheryl. I will email you this reply also. al
HIya. Im really sorry for my lack of info. I only have limited access to the pc when alex isnt here. We live near falkirk in central scotland. Alex has actually been a member of this website since Nov 2003. Thank for your emails. Its good to know that you can help. and as for the email well... Alex made that one up!!!! Thanks for evrything guys.
aah, that explains it, no probs... well, none except that you live in Falkirk! That rules about 90% of F.Chat out! Might be an idea of you re-titled the thread "Scottish Ferrari owners" or something like that to attract their attention. Just a thought. Good luck.
I'm not interested in going! Just though it might help if we knew where in the world they lived bearing in mind the nature of the request
I've just had a few email conversations with Cheryl and it all seems to make sense now. Her problem is that she has limited access to the web at work (see her email address and you'll understand why - don't think the Pru are quite THAT understanding!) and at home she has to go behind said fiance's back to go on F.Chat. Also there are not many of us in Scotland. If i were closer I'd help out - do we know anyone in that area that is fairly relaxed about taking a fan out for a 10 minute spin or so? ah.... CHERYL! Just had a thought, there is an F.Chat trip around Scotland in July sometime. i don't know where the route is, but if one of the stops is near you, or you could get there, then you may be able to arrange something, or at the least, get a close up look at the cars and talk to the owners. Find the thread and ask, the worse than can happen is nothing. Bear in mind though that it is a fairly even split of owners that prefer to keep themselves and their cars to themselves/known mates and those that will quite happily take anyone for a ride. Please bear this in mind and do not be offended if you get no takers. Once again. Good luck. here's the link to the thread http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46123
I live about 40 miles from Falkirk so will see what I can do,the "ferrarichat" Scotland tour is the first week of August.Have sent Cheryl an e-mail so will keep the board informed. Dave Mc
I pointed that out to Cheryl. Apparently he doesn't come on the site every day and she is just hoping that he won't notice.
...yeah, and not have wear a full body condom before coming into conatct with your perfect crema upholstery!
Thanks for all your emails today, i cant believe i got this much response. I have a few people interested i think. Hopefully all will go to plan. If anyone else has any suggestions to help me all would be appreciated. I did try and hire a 348 for the day but no one up here does it! Thanks again for your time and effort.
A friend and I came across a couple of Scottish Ferrari hire firms recently, I don't think they had a 348 on offer, but one (I think it was in Stirling) was very reasonable on a 355 for the day. I'll dig out the URLs if you're interested.
Thanx Tom, That would be great. Can anyone help me retitle this thread so it says Scottish Ferrari owners? I have never posted on a forum in my life before not a clue how to work the thing,
