I Need Your Vote For Something

A friend called me today asking how I felt having one of my songs nominated for an International Dance Music Award (IDMA). I had NO IDEA WHATSOEVER I was even nominated. This is a total shock to me. TOTAL SHOCK.

I am the only artist on there on an independent label. I'm actually up against JAMIROQUAI! The rest of these guys are huge. I have NO IDEA who put it up for nomination, either. You think they'd mail me something or call my agent.

Anyway, the awards ceremony is in Miami at Winter Music Conference. The voting ends March 10.

Then SUBMIT

You'll have to validate your vote via email. But that should be no biggie.

Here's the rub on this: WMC is a very political event in my industry...so much so that I have never been invited to play there (long story). This would be a fantastic smack in the face to those who've ignored me for 9 years. LOL.
