I overfilled my gas tank in my 360. I was able to extract a gallon but now the check engine light is on. I've driven it about 50 miles but the light won't go away. There is nothing wrong with the car. How can I get the light to disappear? Disconnect the battery, reconnect it and drive another 50 miles? I don't want to go to the dealer just to reset the check engine light if I don't have to. Any ideas?

Dean, not sure if this helps.....when I first got my 360 my check engine light always came on when I got gas. I finally took it in and dealership said nothing was wong, gas cap wasnt on tight enough. After a bit, light went off.

It should clear out by itself. Mine did when i had a check engine light occur. Just drive it and let the computer clear it out of it's memory.

Took me about 12 on/off cycles over 3 weeks to get mine to turn off...it will go off by itself.

Or buy an OBDII tool and it's done in a couple of seconds! These are worth buying for all types of CEL/diagnostic faults. You can pick one up on Fleabay for about £30/$60.
