    Hi All
Whilst bleeding the brakes on my 88 (with Teves ABS) the speedo would randomly register 88 mph and the odometer rotated accordingly. This was with ignition on, and coincided with the Teves pump working and/or me pushing the brake pedal.
    Weird
    Is this normal?
    The brakes work perfectly OK.

88mph? I speculate you encountered a wormhole, drove ~5 miles whilst in a parallel universe, returning without any memory of this wonderful experience.

Yes, check your maintenance records and ensure that Dr. Emmett Brown has never worked on your car at any time in the past or future.

    Fred,

Did you have the car on jack stands with the transmission engaged and wheels turning while doing this?
