I could not believe what I saw today...I attended the HSR at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw SC today, and much to my surprise they had some former indy cars there. Then I saw this other car, similar but wait, why is Schumachers name on the side....and it must be him because the German Flag is by his name.

Turns out this is the 1991 car he won his first championship in. What a Bonus!! As in all of these event, I was able to almost sit in the car. You should have seen it at speed, and heard the sound of the screaming engine!!

It set the fasted lap record ever at this track, by far. Lot's of people test here, but this may be the first F1 car that has been here. The 962's were running 132's, I thing this car ran a 119 or 121. Incidently, it was Ford Powered.

Carolina Motorsports Park is a track you should vist. Go to there website. Once a month they have track time with instructors for around 190, 5 20-30 minute sessions. And there must have been only 150 total people there, I could not believe my luck...

That's awesome David! I think I remember seeing that car as well at the HSR event at Road Atlanta maybe. Amazing sounds they make for sure :)

I need to go out to CMP one day. My friend Greg has been out there with his Porsche club and has done some track time and he says it's an awesome track...
