Found this when I pulled the #1 & #2 plug wires on the front bank to use a spark tester. Ouch. Burned right through to the wire core from contact with the exhaust. Seems I need better wire holders on the front bank. I hope I can find replacement red cable sheathing by the foot.

    Ya think? ;)

The front bank wires shouldn't be anywhere near the exhaust header tubes -- are you missing the black routing clips on the camcover?

I'm missing the two of the clips on the front bank. I secured new wires with cable ties; not tight enough it would seem. I cut them to the same length as the wires I replaced; I now suspect those were overly long with too much slack.

I added new clips to my injector o-ring order from Rutlands. I'll have to Dremel out the broken stubs from the old ones still in the cam cover spigots.

Been there, done that, wrong size they are too wide. Once the wires are connected to the distributor cap, when bunched together they will not pass through the rubber cover of the cap. You can run a search there is a company, Taylor I believe, that sells the correct 7mm size but it is uber expensive.
