I used to be a 612 hater.........

The612 is one of the best cars Ferrari has ever made in my opinion, it's just perfect and it's like a monster wearing a brioni suit. When u want it to it becomes an animal......yet it's sleek and subtle as well as imposing. Pictures have never given this car justice.....u have to see it in the flesh.

The style has grown on me as well ... I truly love it with the Challenge Wheels

 

The 612 is a beautiful car, but somehow red is not the color for it to me, I think black looks the best for the 612 IMHO.

 

There is a Rosso Corsa/Beige 612HGTC for sale at the dealer in Hong Kong and it looks the business. 612 looks very different depending on the colour

only my 599 is black on black , all others red/tan , when i get a chance i will post some pics. im also a big muscle car nut of the newer era that are custom from the stock one's

 

Is it me or do these things look like the front end of a porch and the side of a BMW z4...?

J.R.- Affirmative, very famous car. If we had someone really good at PhotoShop, it would be interesting to see whether those gill engine vents would have looked good, or too busy, on the 612. I actually think they would have looked pretty good and would have helped to break up the very long body of the 612.

John- Affirmative. They actually had several Ferraris. The 375 MMs were apparently pretty truck-like, even though blindingly fast in a straight line for their time.

Italian film director Roberto Rossellini is a longtime Ferrari customer. One of his
cars, a gift to Ingrid Bergman (although she later admits she didn't much like
driving it) is this custom Pinin Farina-bodied Ferrari 375 MM Berlinetta, which
she's seen inspecting at the auto show in 1954. Mr. Ferrari enjoys dinner with
this most glamorous couple, 1950. Even today, there's a special silver paint color
in the Ferrari palette named Grigio Ingrid.

i too have come around....
am on my yearly 'get rid of the 456mgt' kick, and since the 612's have fallen much more than the 456 has in the last years, the spread has come in quite a bit.
