Is that possible? Can I buy a blank 360 key, the nice red one that looks like a ferrari sheeld and use it on my 355? If so, were can I buy a blank key? Have any one tried?

Buy a blank 360 key and take it to a locksmith or any other type of place that's capable of making the 355 key. I can get you a blank 360 key, if you want just shoot me an email.

    Forza,
    Kevin

The steel key part on the 360 is identical to the 355 steel part. I just had the jeweler change my "gold key" from my 355 changed to my 360 using a 355 blank key.

360 key is the silver bulky and heavy key that I would not recommend. The nice red one with the shield is the CS key and the new F430. When I inquired last year they told me no...but with the F430 it maybe different.

Exactly. Many times when people contact me about 360 keys in reality they want the CS key.

FWIW, I remember somebody on here a while back painted his 360 key red and it came out perfect. I don't know if the CS is otherwise the same, but it will certainly look the same.

I purchased a CS key for my 360. You need a CS serial number to purchase the blank. I called my Ferrari dealer where I service my car and it happened they were servicing a CS at the time and ordered 10 blanks. They sold me one. I know they sold 7 of them the first week. If you p.m. me I'll pass on the dealer info. Don't know if they have any left.

I have plenty of the silver 360 key blanks available.

    http://ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=39&products_id=25

MSRP is about $150/ea. The "nice price" with Ricambi is obviously much lower. For the next 48 hours, I'll leave the 360 keys on the website with free shipping.

"While supplies last" yadda yadda yadda.

Yeah I tried with 3 of my suppliers and they all said they had to have chassis numbers. Not to mention they will precut the keys. I tried telling them the situation but eh no luck. Either way try Daniel for the 360 keys, he's a standup guy and is extremely quick. Sorry for the inconvenience I'll let you know if I see one. (by the way the price came up around $600.00 on one of their computers so it's pretty pricey even if I do get one available)

    Kevin -

Before I bought the biz from Sodacom's, Dave was supposedly taking these silver 360 keys to a local body shop where he had them sprayed Rossa Corsa. I don't know how they handled the chrome cavallino, but he said they looked H-O-T when properly done. Ever heard of people doing this?

If I ever have a free moment to spare, I might steal one from inventory and see if I can get it sprayed here in NC.

    Daniel,

Nope I haven't heard of this before. I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to do though just call a few body shops and see what they can do. I also never noticed you guys bought Sodacom's I was wondering what happened to them. Heh.

Either way if you do get something started I'd love to resell them so keep us all updated.

By the way just wanted to say keep up the good work. I hear nothing but great things about you guys and if I ever can't take care of a customer on some hard to get OEM parts I allways give them your contact info.

    Forza,
    Kevin

The key that I purchased were blanks not pre-cut, but you definitely need a chasis number. I paid $230 less 10% FCA discount or $207 for the blank. I had another fcar owner cut the key for me.

    FOLKS.....

I have come to a conclusion.

The 360 silver key blade looks to be an *almost* identical match as follows:

    http://ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=39&products_id=25

    and

    http://ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=39&products_id=27

    and

    http://ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=39&products_id=26

    and

    http://ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=39&products_id=24

If somebody would like to step to the plate and buy a 360 silver key, I'll accept a *CUT* key as a return if it fails to work on your 348 (or later) car, excluding the 575, 612, and 430. It looks like it'd work on a 355 just fine. If the cut key doesn't work, send it back to me and I'll issue a 100% return.

(I'd try it on my 348, but I'm slammed with getting ready for a local FCA event here in North Carolina, and don't have the time)

Once somebody steps up, we'll hold all future sales until we get confirmation that it works. If I get multiple orders, I'll cancel all but the first one registered into www.ricambiamerica.com

    Whatcha think?
